My World

My World!

2021 Oct. Front Yard Lawn Conversion

I took me 3 years to convince my other half to give up his lawn. Bermuda grass began to “invade” the lawn, so he agreed!

Feeding, caring, and moving became a “pain” instead of pleasure!

Removing grass began!

Irrigations (drippers) for existing tree and two new Mountain Laurel trees.

Weed barriers were placed.

Truck load of “1/2 in. Cherry Mist” rocks.

We first planted one Texas Mountain Laurel and one Chaste tree; but we realized that the Chaste tree would drop all leaves in the winter and make more mess in addition to the existing tree. So we replaced it with another Texas Mountain Laurel tree.
