This project was delayed for weeks due to the weather and illness. However, it turned out to be great therapy to recover and keep our minds off pain and sadness. So much hard work Popeye put into this shed! This is the 6th one that he put together!
Yea! It was delivered! A bit too early …. | Two huge boxes! and a foundation (not in photo) |
Popeye bought 128 pavers from a yard sale (33 cents each) to make the base for the shed.
Leveling one block at a time! 🙁 | Checking it twice! |
Foundation pieces and parts. | Began putting the foundation together. |
Releveling needed! Back breaking type of work!
Wood panel on top of the steel frame.
Lone Ranger at work! | Assembling all the pieces together. |
Gables. | All the pieces were in the yard! |
Fun but hard work begun! Not every piece “just snap together!”
The hardest part was the doors.
Skylights. | Front patio. |
Strengthen the pavers.
Washing all the shelves that Popeyes got from a yard sale.
BEFORE | AFTER 🙂 |
Accomplished!
Made steppingstones | |
Got 15 panels of fence from a yard sale ($4 each)
Begin installing the fence | The ground was extremely hard, like trying to make hole in a cement all the way through! 🙁 |
