Ingredients
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp corn starch
- 3/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine coconut milk and sugar. Stir together and bring to a boil
- As you wait for the coconut milk to boil, mix the cornstarch with water and stir until the corn starch has dissolved in the water
- Once the coconut milk has boiled, lower the heat and slowly stir in the corn starch
- Keep stirring the mix until the the consistency is thick and creamy
- Immediately pour into a small 8″x8″ pan
- Refrigerate the haupia. Cut the haupia into squares and serve!
