Christmas Rice Krispie Snowballs

INGREDIENTS
5 tbsp. (1/4 c.) butter
1 (10-oz.) bag marshmallows
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter or 1/3 Cup Crushed Candy Canes
Pinch kosher salt
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
30 Reese’s Minis (optional)
1 1/2 c. white chocolate chips or 2 14 Oz. Bags White Candy Melts
2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
Sprinkles


DIRECTIONS

Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt butter. Stir in marshmallows and peanut butter (or add crushed candy canes to melted marshmallows).
Stir until mixture is melted. Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
Let cool slightly.
Flatten about a tablespoon amount of Rice Krispies and add a mini Reese’s in the middle and roll into a ball and add a candy can into the center of each ball.
Place your finished treats into the fridge for about 15 minutes to cool down.
Dip in melted chocolate or candy melts, then place on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sprinkles
Repeat with remaining Rice Krispies.
Refrigerate 20 minutes or until chocolate is set.
