Chocolate Glaze for Brownie, Cookies, or Cakes

SIMPLE GLAZE: (enough to cover 9*9 brownie)

  • 2/3 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 to 5 teaspoons hot water

OR

From Baking A Moment

  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate finely chopped (or chocolate chips)
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the cream in a small pot over medium low heat, until simmering.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate (or chips).
  3. Add the corn syrup and vanilla.
  4. Whisk together until smooth.
  5. Drizzle while warm.

Use this for drip cakes, as a drizzle on a bundt, to top donuts, or to ice brownies.
